New Performance Laminate Constructions and Colours 03/01/2002 Bainbridge International is delighted to announce that the DIAX-OS-HMT range of performance laminates in now available with a grey anti-UV adhesive that reduces fibre strength loss due to UV exposure. As well as the addition of grey to the DIAX-OS-HMT range, Bainbridge International has also made developments in the construction of these laminates. Bainbridge International ‘Off Shore’ (OS) products were originally developed for applications requiring greater durability such as Volvo 60 and Transpac boats. The OS construction benefits from twice as many DIAX yarns compared with our usual, products providing increased durability and strength. More and more round the cans race boats have been using this premium product and this has lead to the adoption of the OS DIAX throughout the range, to be used for both off shore and in shore applications. This shows the versatility of the DIAX-OS-HMT range and allows the inshore sailor to benefit from the increased performance that is offered by these laminates.
