Bainbridge International On Big Brother

Bainbridge International have supplied Channel 4’s Big Brother household, with fabric and architectural rigging to cover the garden of the TV Programmes set.   The awning provides the occupants of the house with shelter and shade while they try to avoid ‘elimination’ during the Series. It has been constructed from Baintex 735, a lightweight, white 100% polyester fabric and ‘Ronstan’ technical rigging equipment, for which Bainbridge International is the sole distributor of in the UK.

Historically, Bainbridge has been a marine based company and continues to be a leading producer of quality sailcloth and laminates.  However, in recent years the company has chosen to use this experience to develop into a number of other markets including architectural rigging and fabrics, to offer elegant and minimalist structural solutions.

Besides the Big Brother House, Bainbridge Architectural products have been used for the vast fire retardant curtains in the Millennium Dome, refurbishment of the Lakeside Shopping Centre Food Hall, and Mitsubishi dealerships in Bristol and Grimsby. Ronstan Rigging systems have also been used all over the world in many famous locations including the amazing Sky City Casino in Australia.
